La bandera de Amalia

Orbanilla can boast of having one of the best embroiderers in the area among its inhabitants. The town’s festival committee, which knows this fact, decides to commission Amalia to make a flag that represents the population, for which she supplies all the necessary materials. However, solidarity is more important for the protagonist, who does not hesitate to resolve the small daily conflicts that she observes from her balcony with the fabrics that she makes. This will cause Amalia to have to present something totally unexpected when it comes time to deliver the requested banner. Will she be able to capture the essence and values of the citizens who live in the town with her final proposal? A beautiful story, which contains some interesting metaphors, to explain the true value of the symbols that identify the towns. At the same pace as the seamstress’s needle, the pair of authors have managed to weave a script and a collection of illustrations of great subtlety and elegance that perfectly capture the spirit of the story.
